Jede coole Idee hat irgendwo ihren Anfang, und genau so war es bei uns. 💡

Wir wollten etwas schaffen, das positive Vibes versprüht und unsere
Staytoo-Community zusammenbringt. 🫂

Im Mai 2023 kam der Gedanke auf: Warum nicht ein Musikvideo für STAYTOO machen? 🤔 Nach etwas Recherche war klar: In unserer Branche wäre dies ein Primus. Also dachten wir uns – warum nicht wir? 😎

Quick Fact: Marken wie Coca-Cola oder Bitburger nutzen schon seit jeher Musikvideos, um ihre Emotionen auszudrücken. Das war unser Hauptargument, als wir die Idee dem Team vorgestellt haben.

Dann ging’s ans Eingemachte: Die Story musste her. 📜

Die große Frage: Was wollen wir zeigen? Klar war, das Problem vieler Studis ist der mangelnde Wohnraum – also wollten wir genau das thematisieren.

Die Story war schnell geboren: Ein Student zieht von LA nach Berlin, um zu studieren und natürlich eine Bude zu finden. 🔑🏙️

Inspiriert hat uns dabei die Serie „The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air“. Will, musste sich in LA neuen Challenges stellen – genauso sollte unser Student in Berlin die Herausforderung der Wohnungssuche meistern. Passt doch, oder? 👌

Für die Hauptrolle kam uns BIZZAIR in den Sinn. Sein Look und Style passten perfekt zu unserer Vision. Ein Anruf, und er war dabei: „Sure, I’m in!“ 🎤

Als Nächstes wurde der Beat für das Musikvideo erstellt. Gemeinsam mit Aidan und dem Team wurden die Lyrics entwickelt und angepasst, bis sie perfekt waren. Aidan nahm die Vocals in seinem Studio in LA auf und schickte uns den fertigen Track. 🎧

Dann ging es ans Storyboard und ans Drehbuch. Dank unserer Mitarbeiter konnten wir hier alles zügig vorbereiten und umsetzen. ✔️

Wir wollten kein langweiliges „Schaut her, wie cool wir sind“-Musikvideo, sondern eine Story erzählen, die für Studis relatable ist.

Als alles organisiert war, hieß es nur noch: Action! 🎬

Der Dreh verlief reibungslos, und das Ergebnis kann sich wirklich sehen lassen. Wir sind stolz auf unser erstes Musikvideo, das eine Geschichte erzählt, mit der sich Studenten identifizieren können.

Sitting all alone in this lil cafe
On the phone all day tryna find a place to stay

Its called “StayToo and it’s where you belong

So I grabbed my suitcase and we started the trek
saw the StayToo sign on the side of the complex
Open up the door to a community space
Play some fooseball, beer pong, and I hit the weights.

Ugh head to the rooms lemme see the inside
Fully furnished and the shower is nice
What’s the rent like, and where do I sign up?
That cheap looks like I’m in luck.

late night talks don’t forget the meals,
