From Dudenstraße in Kreuzberg, you are well connected by underground:

• HU Berlin (Mitte): approx. 20–25 minutes with the U6 from “Platz der Luftbrücke”
• FU Berlin (Dahlem): approx. 25–30 minutes with a combination of underground lines (e.g., U6 + U3)
• HTW Berlin (depending on campus): approx. 30–40 minutes by public transport

2. Which apartment categories are there in Berlin? What does the all‑in rent include, and can I live with someone else?

Our Berlin student apartments have the following categories:

• Category A: approx. 17–18 m², 1st–3rd floor
• Category B: approx. 17–18 m², 3rd–4th floor, partly renovated
• Category C: approx. 21–24 m²
  Furniture, materials, and design are the same in all categories—the main differences are size, floor, and renovation status.

In Berlin you pay an all‑in rent from 862 € per month for your fully furnished one‑room apartment.
This usually includes:

• rent for your apartment
• utilities (electricity, water, heating)
• Wi‑Fi
• use of shared areas (e.g. fitness, lounge, etc.)

Our Berlin student apartments are designed as one‑room apartments for one person.
If you want to live as two people, please check our locations in Kaiserslautern and, in the future, Munich – there we offer special two‑person apartments.

3. What shared areas are there in Berlin? And what about parking and bikes?

At Staytoo Berlin student apartments you can enjoy various “Stay…” features, for example:

  There are no dedicated car parking spaces or underground car parks at the Berlin site.

  There are bicycle parking options both indoors and outdoors, so you can park your bike safely and protected from the weather.

4. How do move‑in and move‑out work in Berlin, and what should I know about house rules and guests?

To give you a clear idea of what to expect in Berlin, here are the key points on move‑in, move‑out, house rules, reporting issues, and guests.

Move-in

• Move‑in appointments usually take place Monday to Friday between 10 am and 4 pm.
• Appointments are only arranged once payment receipts (e.g., deposit/first rent) have been received.
• Apartments are handed over furnished but “empty”—you bring items like bedding, kitchen utensils, and a toilet brush yourself.

House rules (important points)
To keep life pleasant for everyone in the Berlin student apartments, please pay special attention to:

• No smoking inside the building
• Noise & doors—keep volume reasonable; don’t slam the door.
• Waste disposal—use the bins correctly; no rubbish in corridors
• Quiet in the courtyard – avoid loud gatherings, especially in the evening and at night

Reporting issues / repairs
The best way to report defects or repair requests is in person on-site or via WhatsApp to the site team—ideally with a short description and, if possible, photos.

Move-out

• Move‑out appointments also take place Monday to Friday between 10 am and 4 pm, ideally in the morning so that cleaning or repairs can follow.
• A pre‑inspection is possible but currently used rarely – if you’d like one, please arrange it with the property management in good time.

Guests

• According to the rental contract, you should inform the property management about guests; you are responsible for your visitors’ behavior.
• For visitors from home, stays of around 1–2 weeks are usually fine—for longer stays, please discuss this with the team in advance.
• Guests must follow the house rules and quiet times just like residents.
